Eligibility Requirements | Unit Conversion | Technical Support
For Mississippi State University as an Institution of Higher Learning, students must meet the following eligibility criteria per MDE.
The High School Credit earned for completion of a 3-credit hour Dual Enrollment course is typically equivalent to ½ Carnegie Unit; however, each high school superentendent has the authority to determine equivalency of up to one full Carnegie Unit.
The Office of Technology within AOCE provides all Technical Support to faculty and students and is the sole developer and maintainer of the High School Dual Enrollment website. Technology personnel have established a set of online course standards, which includes accessibility, and must have access to all such courses to provide technical assistance and to ensure quality and consistency of design. Minimal technical requirements do exist for students enrolled. Library Resources are available for students enrolled in the High School Dual Enrollment Program at: http://library.msstate.edu/content/templates/?a=133&z=39
