Online College Independent Study

Independent Study offers instruction in a wide variety of subject areas to a diverse group of learners interested in furthering their college education. Courses provide a viable learning alternative that helps overcome geographic and time barriers. Independent Study requires self-motivation, a conscientious effort, and self-discipline.

Content of Independent Study courses parallels on-campus equivalents yet provides flexibility in the structure and delivery. Each course is designed around a study guide, textbook, lessons, and exams. Qualified university faculty serve as instructors and provide feedback through written responses to lesson assignments and exams.

If you plan to take your Exams at MSU please be aware of the testing Dates & Times.

You may start at 2:00 but no later due to time constraints.

No testing on Fridays.
